The successful Berlin theater sitcom as a TV series for the first time! Since 2004, the soap parody "Gutes Wedding, Schlechtes Wedding" has brought the adventures of its neighborhood residents to the stage of the Weddinger Prime Time Theater five nights a week. For the rbb television adaptation, author and Prime Time co-founder Constanze Behrends created her own story around identical twin sisters Ulla and Penelope, who were separated at birth. Today Penelope is a vegan performance artist with a househusband in Prenzlauer Berg and Ulla is an overweight kebab lover in Wedding. They have no idea of each other's existence until Ulla has to take a job as a janitor at her daughter's school, and Penelope, who has recently been trying to live together as a WG with her husband Tömle, also puts her son Casper in the Wedding integration school because of the financial advantages. Will they find each other? Constanze Behrends embodies Ulla and Penelope in a double role. Prime Time ensemble members also include favorite characters such as the Swabian male breastfeeding group leader Üwele, the neighborhood bitch Sabrina, the "good Turks" Orkan and Taifun, and the Prenzlberg overmothers. In the opening episode, Ulla finds herself on the street in Wedding without a job or a place to stay and, with Ahmed's help, becomes the new janitor at SISTAR (Social Integration School for Turks, Anarchists and the Rich), to the horror of her daughter Ratte, who now has to live at her school. School principal Jens Dietrich, on the other hand, immediately falls in love with Ulla. Meanwhile, in Prenzlauer Berg, performance artist Penelope and her husband Tömle try to turn their marriage into a shared apartment, with the help of feng shui consultant Kathrin and male breastfeeding group leader Üwele. Son Casper is also sent to SISTAR for the financial benefits and is the first to meet Ratte's contempt, while Penelope rudely learns that she is adopted.
