Season 3 | Episode 2: True or False

Anna Pihl

Crime/Drama, Denmark 2008

Anna and her new partner, Mik, are called to a cruise ship where an elderly couple have had two expensive designer bags stolen. Later, they pay with a fake euro bill and elsewhere with a fake credit card. Although Eva doesn't think they should spend time on it, Anna still sees a connection - the characters are similar and she becomes more and more convinced that two employees on the ship, David and Louise, are behind the fraud. Kim takes a liking to Karim's sister, Samira, and suddenly thinks his wound from the glass he got in the head is infected, so he has to go to the emergency room, where Samira tells him there's no infection, but he comes away with a sweet message anyway. Therese is going to the US and thinks she should take the baby over there, while Jan wants to look after the baby in Denmark while she is away. Anna agrees with Jan, and Therese also ends up giving in. Anna is sure that David and Louise have been cheating, but she has no proof, which David in particular uses to provoke her. Suddenly, however, a tip comes in from an auction house where the two have had a painting valued. Anna finds the painting's owner, who now has a copy hanging. She quickly rallies a crowd and arrests David and Louise on the ship, where the real painting is hidden in their cabin.
