The little bear has his father explain the signs of the zodiac, makes a surprise work piece out of leftover wood and uses a compass to look for the North Pole. Little Bear has just learned how to use a hammer and nail, and he and his friends, the duck, the hen and the owl, are already building a surprise out of many different wooden boards. Little Bear wants to go to the North Pole, to the place where the snow comes from.
