Schotty is summoned to a wealthy widow's mansion. A burglar died here when he fell down a flight of stairs while trying to escape. At least that's what the old lady says. However, while going about his work, Schotty finds evidence that the woman killed the burglar in cold blood with a golf club. When Schotty announces that she wants to call the police, the old woman tries to buy his silence: with a Maserati – Schotty's dream car.
