The northeast of the Uckermark, probably the most sparsely populated landscape in Germany. Estate villages determined the structure of the landscape and the way of life of the people since the Thirty Years' War. Today, the Agrar-GmbHs need only a few people for 300 hectares. The others had to move away or tried to reach early retirement more or less happily. Thus, a particularly large number of houses were sold here to city dwellers, mostly from Berlin. For some years now, huge wind fields have been springing up in northeastern Brandenburg. Windmills without number. They have now also come very close in Trampe, making noise and casting their shadows on the village in the true sense of the word. The wind lobby is strong, there is a lot of money involved. Again, some people want to sell their houses. But they are now worth nothing. In the early summer of 2010, the village celebrates its 725th founding year.
