Berlin is a mecca for the young and creative who seek freedom, selfies and artistic opportunities in the city. Always known as a place of openness and sexual permissiveness, a new component has been added with the advent of dating apps: The quick and uncomplicated getting to know each other via smartphone, which initially leaves out direct, personal contact. Especially popular app "Tinder" has revolutionized dating behavior in the big city in recent years. The film portrays 10 Berliners in their use of the app. What experiences did they have and what wishes and hopes drove them? From a fitness fan looking for a connection in a new city, to two parents-to-be who met via Tinder, to a supposed "ghoster" who reflects on his approach to dating. Unpopular topics such as isolation, loneliness and psychological problems are also discussed openly and unvarnished.
