Diz a Ela Que Me Viu Chorar - Let It Burn

Everyday life/Politics, Brazil 2019

The eye-opening documentary portrays life in a seven-story apartment building located in Downtown São Paulo, Brazil, where 107 residents reside, bound by their addiction to crack. As part of a city hall "damage reduction" initiative that is about to be terminated, the documentary showcases the lives of many characters over the course of several months. As the camera roams through the hallways, rooms, elevators, and stairs, viewers get to witness the residents' passionate struggle to bond and fight for their lives amidst their drug addictions and hallucinations. In this confined and suffocating space, anything can happen.
